Trigger on: "how do I", "how can I", "getting started with", "what can Claude do", "teach me", "learn to use"; questions about artifacts, projects, skills, plugins, connectors, MCP; requests about rolling Claude out to a team, class, or organization; and any ask for training materials, onboarding content, or learning resources. Use this when users request creating art using code, generative art, algorithmic art, flow fields, or particle systems. Create original algorithmic art rather than copying existing artists' work to avoid copyright violations.186k

  8. 8Firecrawl Buildfirecrawl/firecrawlIntegrate Firecrawl into application code whenever a product, agent, or workflow needs web data inside the app — web search, live search results, page scraping, structured extraction, or browser interaction. Use when building any feature that needs data from the web in code, even if the user does not mention Firecrawl explicitly and only describes wanting web data, website content, search, scraping, or interaction in an application. Trigger for Firecrawl requests, "fire girl" shorthand, and generic app-level web-data needs that should map to `/scrape`, `/search`, or `/interact`. Do not use thi197k

Fresh Review

roman-s8o/workflow-pack-free

Review an artifact with an independent agent that has no access to the author's reasoning, then classify its findings.

Guided Goal

luchasarie/guided-goal

Turn a rough objective into a bounded, verifiable completion contract, confirm it, then execute it with a finite attempt cap. Use when the user wants autonomous work but the outcome, proof, scope, or stopping point is still vague.

Hitpost

Lihaila/hitpost-skill

Write X (Twitter) posts that earn attention and sound human, using the writing rules from HitPost (lihaila.si). The skill turns an idea, topic, link or rough note into three ready-to-post drafts with different angles (single post, thread or long Premium post, in any tone or language), checks their length the way X counts it, and gives one-click share links. It can also polish and score an existing draft. Use it whenever the user wants to write, draft, rewrite, improve or punch up a tweet, X post, thread or 🧵, or a gm/greeting post, or asks "what should I tweet about…", even if they don't say

Impresario

Shushant17711/impresario

Use when building, creating, designing, redesigning, animating or polishing any website, landing page, portfolio, product page, hero, microsite, component or app screen in any frontend stack — even when the user gives only a subject ("make a website for X") with no style direction. Autonomously invents a memorable, subject-specific concept and ships heavily animated, flowing, award-level (Awwwards style) work without asking the user for style choices. Also use when a result looks generic, templated, AI-made, flat, static or lifeless.

Kavel Image

hanshs474/kavel-image-skill

Generate an image from a prompt through Kavel's anonymous endpoint — no API key, no account, no card. Use when the user asks for an image, a poster, a thumbnail, or any visual asset and there is no image model wired up. Photo edits and video need a Kavel API key.

Keyboard Shortcuts

nparashar150/claude-keyboard-shortcuts

Audit a web app for missing keyboard shortcuts and implement them end to end: a command registry, context-scoped bindings, a command palette, visible kbd hints, a ? help sheet, invariant tests, and WCAG 2.1.4 compliance. Use whenever the user mentions keyboard shortcuts, hotkeys, keybindings, a command palette, Cmd+K, power-user features, or making an app feel fast, and also when building or reviewing any list, table, modal, form, or editor UI where shortcuts and keyboard access obviously belong even if the user never says the word shortcut.

Make Faceless Video

airdropfi/autoshort-skills

Make a narrated, captioned faceless short video (AI images and AI voice) on the user's own AutoShort or StoryShort account. Works with either MCP server, detects which one is connected, agrees the script with the user, shows the credit price the server returns and renders only after an explicit yes, then polls the render and returns the video link. Use when the user wants to make, draft, render or publish a short video, YouTube Short, TikTok or Reel.

Orchestrating Subagents

PapiScholz/symphony

Use when about to spawn one or more subagents, agent teams, or a workflow — a single delegated search, a parallel fan-out, or a repeated batch — and whenever choosing which model a delegated task runs on instead of letting it inherit yours. Also use when writing or editing a .claude/agents definition, when a delegated run hit a rate limit or cost more than expected, or when a subagent came back after far more or far fewer turns than the work warranted.

Pdp Audit

llizell/pdp-audit

Research-backed UX and conversion audit of ecommerce product detail pages (PDPs). Pro Motion: make a high-taste motion-graphics launch film, brand film, TVC or promo video and the unconventional campaign around it, audio first: pick a surprising campaign mechanism (media hijack, fake-broken ads, meme replies, UGC army, FOOH), plan the music as a marketing asset, then render the film in code (canvas to MP4) cut to the beat with AE-style effects. Also builds stylized web pages the same way (official site, landing page, interactive hero: live WebGL type, cutout subjects, try-with-your-photo, waitlist). Scope a new project (or resume one) and set up a living, resumable documentation journal for it, including a routine weekly health check, not just updates triggered by commits. Use at the start of any project, before writing code, to ask about project type, Git repo status, short/long-term goals, and whether it should stay public/open-source or become a private product later. Also use when someone wants to document what has been done, wants a changelog or decision log, needs to resume work from a prior session without re-reading chat history, wants docs kept current after every commit, or want

Session Handoff

alapha888/session-handoff-kit

Use this skill when context usage approaches capacity (>60%), before running /clear or /compact, when switching tasks, when ending a coding session across Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, or as a mid-session diagnostic — if the agent cannot fill the handoff fields from actual state, the session has drifted. Produces a structured handoff artifact that transfers execution state to a fresh agent session without loss of context or drift.

alfredtech2026/shopify-app-review-brief

Turn public 1–3-star Shopify App Store review rows into a transparent P0–P3 triage brief — incident risk, repeated friction, pricing confusion, feature requests, and an explicit needs-human-read bucket — where every item keeps its public source link and is labeled first pass or human-checked. Use this skill when someone wants app store reviews, low-star reviews, or merchant feedback triaged, prioritized, clustered, or turned into a weekly product/support brief for one Shopify app or a whole portfolio, even when they never say triage, severity, or P0.

About Claude skills

What is a Claude skill?

A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file: a name, a one-line description of when to use it, and instructions (plus optional scripts and reference files). Claude reads only the description up front and loads the rest when a task needs it, so you can install many skills without filling the context window. Skills work in Claude Code, Claude.ai, the Claude app and the Claude API, and the same format is used by other agents such as Codex and Cursor.

How do I install a skill in Claude Code?

Copy the skill folder into ~/.claude/skills (for you) or .claude/skills in a project (for your team). If the repo is a plugin marketplace you can also run /plugin marketplace add owner/repo inside Claude Code and install it from /plugin. Every skill page here has the exact commands.

How is popularity measured?

Mostly by the GitHub stars of the repo the skill lives in, with forks, the number of curated awesome lists that include it, and the number of repos that carry a copy as smaller signals. Skills from a repo with hundreds of skills share that repo's stars, so they get a small penalty to keep one big collection from filling the list.

Where does this directory get its skills?

From Anthropic's official anthropics/skills repo, the largest community lists (VoltAgent, travisvn, ComposioHQ, BehiSecc, karanb192, heilcheng, skillmatic-ai and hesreallyhim) and a GitHub search for skill repos. Every SKILL.md in those repos is read for its name and description, and copies of the same skill are merged. It refreshes every day.

Are these skills safe to install?

Skills can include scripts that run on your machine, so treat a skill like any other code from the internet: read the SKILL.md and any scripts before installing, prefer official and well-starred repos, and check the license.

Sources: anthropics/skills (official), travisvn/awesome-claude-skills, ComposioHQ/awesome-claude-skills, VoltAgent/awesome-agent-skills, BehiSecc/awesome-claude-skills, karanb192/awesome-claude-skills, heilcheng/awesome-agent-skills, skillmatic-ai/awesome-agent-skills, hesreallyhim/awesome-claude-code, and GitHub search.
