# VaultForge

Complete workflow for transforming learning materials into structured Obsidian atomic note knowledge bases.

## Core Principles

### ⚠️ CRITICAL: Must Read All Designated Files Completely

**Absolutely forbidden to generate a learning roadmap or notes based on partial content.**

- Must read **all** learning files selected by the user
- **Prefer single-pass full reads** of entire files; use batched reading only when encountering technical limits
- If batched reading is necessary (e.g., PDF at 50 pages/batch), **auto-continue without user confirmation**
- Only generate the learning roadmap after confirming all content has been read

### ⚠️ CRITICAL: Atomic Notes to Knowledge Points — Default 1:1 + Proportion Calibration

**Default**: Each bullet knowledge point in the outline maps to **one** atomic note; note titles match bullet text (or are normalized filenames).

**Allowed exceptions** (must satisfy the "proportional to source material" rule below **simultaneously**, and include a **brief rationale** during roadmap confirmation):

- Knowledge point with very little source material: may **merge** with adjacent bullet into one atomic note (outline must sync: merge bullets or mark "merged")
- Knowledge point with extensive source material: may **split** into multiple atomic notes (outline splits into multiple bullets or sub-numbering)
