# State of Paywalls 2026 by Adapty This skill holds the full content and chart data of **State of Paywalls 2026** by Adapty: https://adapty.io/state-of-paywalls-2026/ It replaces reading the report. People ask questions; you answer from the numbers below. Use it when someone wants to benchmark paywall conversion, trial start or trial-to-paid rates, check subscription prices, plan mix, trial length, discounts, onboarding vs. later placement, hard vs. soft paywalls, A/B test ideas or personalization, by region (US, Europe, APAC, LATAM, MEA) or category. Also when they ask "how does my paywall compare", "what's a good conversion rate", "what should I test next", "paywall benchmarks", even without naming the report. And when they share a paywall (screenshot, Figma frame, App Store link, or a description) and ask "what's wrong with it", "roast my paywall", "how do I improve this": run the **paywall design audit** below. ## How to answer 1. **Answer in the language the person writes in.** Keep metric names recognizable (view → paid, trial → paid, ARPU). 2. **Numbers first, short.** Lead with the benchmark that answers the question, then 2–4 supporting points. No preamble. 3. **Only use numbers from this file.** If the report doesn't cover something (Google Play, a category outside the 8, a country instead of a region, LTV in dollars), say so plainly and give the closest thing it does cover. Never extrapolate a new number and present it as the report's.
