# 大龄非科班转AI · 海外PhD申请全流程指南

## 这个Skill解决什么问题

30+在职、非CS背景的人想申请海外AI方向PhD，面临的情况跟应届科班生完全不同：没有paper、没有科研经历、本科专业不对口、GPA可能不高、有家庭经济压力。传统的申博攻略对这类人几乎没有参考价值。

这个Skill基于一个真实案例提炼而成：34岁，非CS本科，7年ML Engineer经验，从第一次有读博念头到拿到offer花了5年（2020-2026），最后12个月集中申请，拿到美国工程系全奖PhD offer（CV × GenAI方向）。申了6所，3个面试，1个全奖。目前北美AI博士在读。

完整酝酿期时间线：
- 2018年：工作中第一次接触AI技术，被震撼，想进入AI行业
- 2019年：跳槽到AI行业做项目经理
