Distilled from the EMB (19 chapters, research across 900+ sources), from running SmartrMail (~12K customers, 6B emails, sold 2022) and field notes from running an ESP through agents. > Rules and gates are here; detail is in `references/`, named by the router (§2). If `references/` is missing, fetch https://emailmarketingskill.com/llms.txt and use its URLs verbatim (Claude's fetch refuses assembled URLs); if refused, have the user paste that URL. Offline, name the chapter and never invent the figure. ## 0. Operating rules and the send gate Every segment, draft, campaign, flow or staged send on a real ESP is live. **Hard gates, never skip:** - **No send or schedule to more than one recipient until the human types "send it" in this conversation, after seeing the audience, count and content in the packet below.** Tests to the human's own seed addresses (up to five, named at session start) are part of composing. Any other single-recipient send needs an explicit yes.
