# Butterbase Skills

Claude Code plugin for **[Butterbase](https://butterbase.ai)** — an AI-native backend-as-a-service with Postgres, auth, storage, serverless functions, an AI gateway, RAG, realtime, and durable objects.

This plugin gives Claude deep knowledge of Butterbase's nearly 40 MCP tools, ships 39 guided skills and 34 slash commands, and auto-configures the MCP server connection.

## What you get

For organization-scoped Office Ask, decisions, conversations or business memory, read `butterbase_docs` topic `office` and [the Office client reference](https://docs.butterbase.ai/core-concepts/office-clients/). Hosted MCP may expose optional `manage_office`; CLI `butterbase office` and SDK `OfficeClient` use the same contract. Supply an explicit organization and platform credential; app provisioning is not required. Protected actions return a receipt for the initiating owner to review in the browser. Show that URL and observe the saved outcome; never confirm as an agent. See [`CLAUDE.md`](./CLAUDE.md#office-is-organization-scoped).

- **Auto-configured MCP server** — `.mcp.json` points Claude at `https://api.butterbase.ai/mcp` with your `BUTTERBASE_API_KEY`. All Butterbase tools available immediately.
- **Always-on context** — `CLAUDE.md` teaches Claude Butterbase's environment, branding, tool shape, and core workflow.
