## What I do
I enable AI agents to control Anki completely through the Anki-Connect HTTP API using curl. I provide all the knowledge needed to:
- Create flashcards (single or batch)
- Manage decks (create, delete, list, configure)
- Search and find notes/cards
- Customize note types (models), templates, fields, and CSS styling
- Manage tags (add, remove, replace, clear unused)
- Control Anki GUI (browse, review, add cards dialog, edit notes)
- Handle media files (upload, retrieve, delete, list)
- Get statistics and review history
- Full card control (suspend, unsuspend, forget, relearn, answer)
- Export/import decks as .apkg files
- Manage deck configurations
## When to use me
Activate this skill when the user wants to:
- Create flashcards dynamically or in bulk
- Search if a question exists in any deck
- List available tags or note types
- Modify existing cards, notes, or note types
- Create custom card designs, templates, or CSS styling
- Manage decks and deck configurations
- Control Anki GUI programmatically
- Get statistics about reviews or collection
- Any operation involving Anki that requires the AI to execute curl commands
## Prerequisites
**IMPORTANT**: Before making any Anki-Connect request, the AI MUST:
1. Verify Anki is running and Anki-Connect is available
2. If the server is not responding, inform the user they need to open Anki
