How Claude Code mods work
- A mod is a plugin with a JavaScript or TypeScript module that runs inside Claude Code (version 2.1.287 or later). It can draw panes beside the transcript, a band above the prompt, buttons and toasts, restyle the spinner and tool rows, and watch or rewrite tool calls and prompts.
- It installs like any plugin: add its marketplace with /plugin marketplace add owner/repo, then /plugin install name@marketplace.
- Check what a mod can reach before installing: it runs with your permissions. Reach goes from drawing only, to reading files, to writing files or running processes, to the network. Run claude plugin validate on a clone to list its hooks and calls without running it.
- Turn one off from the Installed tab in /plugin, or start Claude Code with --safe-mode to skip every customization for a session.

ttsr-rules
1kzarzycki/claude-mods
oh-my-pi TTSR rules: a regex rule denies the tool call that would break it, with the rule as the reason; a question rule is judged after each turn.
sage-memory
12KilimcininKorOglu/claude-code-mods
Keeps project and global memories in SQLite through a shared local daemon, hands the model the entries that match its file tool calls, prompts and subagent tasks, and saves new ones with a haiku consolidator after each main-loop turn.
project-notes
1angomedia/claude-mods
A notes pane for each project: a checklist you add to, tick off and keep between sessions, saved as a plain Markdown file
claw-memory
threesil/claude-mods
Claw mod: injects your SOUL.md, MEMORY.md and open tasks into every session automatically, gives Claude remember/recall/forget tools that write memory deterministically (and refuse secrets), and keeps a daily journal.
flatlist-note
1MatheusChiodi/cockpit
Tells Claude when an edit renders a mapped list inside a vertical ScrollView, or nests a FlatList in one, in a React Native project
herdr-rules
bahaospanov/skills
A Herdr pane counts down before it closes: the agent calls close_pane_later, a band above the prompt shows the seconds left, and a typed message, Keep open or /keep-open cancels it while Close now closes it at once.
