Claude Code mod

vault-scribe

An all-in-one notes manager for an Obsidian second brain: writes the daily note itself (changes and why, decisions, discussions, research and lookups), queues cross-project signals for review, shows a heads-up band, and guards dangerous writes.

How Claude Code mods work

  • A mod is a plugin with a JavaScript or TypeScript module that runs inside Claude Code (version 2.1.287 or later). It can draw panes beside the transcript, a band above the prompt, buttons and toasts, restyle the spinner and tool rows, and watch or rewrite tool calls and prompts.
  • It installs like any plugin: add its marketplace with /plugin marketplace add owner/repo, then /plugin install name@marketplace.
  • Check what a mod can reach before installing: it runs with your permissions. Reach goes from drawing only, to reading files, to writing files or running processes, to the network. Run claude plugin validate on a clone to list its hooks and calls without running it.
  • Turn one off from the Installed tab in /plugin, or start Claude Code with --safe-mode to skip every customization for a session.

vitals-strip

Unraid and Home Assistant health above the prompt: array and ZFS pools, CPU and memory, the Docker service, the Unraid integration's problem sensors (shelves, HBAs, optics), unread Unraid alerts, parity runs, and HA state, repairs and notifications. Unraid is read through the Unraid Management Agent integration in HA, in one read-only template call. Quiet by default: it shows only what isn't green. /vitals for the full strip.

tier-mod

thephenyl02-creator/claude-codex-tier

Tier: the main session manages, helpers do the work. Every hand-off names a model and an effort (max/Fable only after an opus/xhigh failure of that task); web work, big reads and multi-file edits go to tier-mod:reader / tier-mod:editor; a ledger records what each hand-off cost, its check's exit code, and what it saved.
