swe-mux

Run every coding agent in one workspace. Know which ones need you, from your desk or your phone.

swe-mux is a terminal multiplexer for coding agents.
It runs Claude Code, Codex, pi, oh-my-pi, opencode or any shell in real terminals on your own machine, shows which session needs you and why, and puts the whole workspace on your phone over your own Tailscale network.
Open source (Apache-2.0), with no account, relay or telemetry.
A native desktop app on Windows, the browser on Linux and macOS, and an installable web app on your phone.

Try the interactive demo or read the setup guide.
The demo runs the real interface with simulated agent activity and needs no provider connection.

On the phone: answer a waiting agent, then open the app it is building (50 seconds, recorded from the demo).

Desktop and phone together, agents asking for agents, and the land queue (85 seconds, recorded from the demo).

Awaiting names its reason: an approval, a question, a rate limit, a login. An agent that is idle with subagents or background tasks still running looks different from one that is done. Alerts and push notifications name the session and the reason, reach a locked phone, and respect quiet hours.
- Work from your phone. The phone runs the same workspace, not a companion app: the live terminal with a touch keyboard rail, approvals, git diff review, files, notes, the prompt queue and push. It…
