How Claude Code mods work
- A mod is a plugin with a JavaScript or TypeScript module that runs inside Claude Code (version 2.1.287 or later). It can draw panes beside the transcript, a band above the prompt, buttons and toasts, restyle the spinner and tool rows, and watch or rewrite tool calls and prompts.
- It installs like any plugin: add its marketplace with /plugin marketplace add owner/repo, then /plugin install name@marketplace.
- Check what a mod can reach before installing: it runs with your permissions. Reach goes from drawing only, to reading files, to writing files or running processes, to the network. Run claude plugin validate on a clone to list its hooks and calls without running it.
- Turn one off from the Installed tab in /plugin, or start Claude Code with --safe-mode to skip every customization for a session.

Run the project's tests after any turn that edited files, print pass or fail under Claude's answer, and send the failure back to Claude with one /fix command.

Adds the key that switches modes to the mode labels in the prompt footer, so you can leave a mode you forgot you were in
undo-agent
1MDmubarak786/claude-mods
Undo the file edits a subagent made. /rewind restores your own turns, but not a subagent's edits; this snapshots them and puts the files back with one command.
show-paths
1MDmubarak786/claude-mods
Put the file path on every Read, Edit, Write, Glob, and Grep row in the transcript, so you never expand a row just to learn which file it touched.
standup
1MDmubarak786/claude-mods
Your day, written for you. Every turn is logged; /standup turns today's work across every session on the machine into a three-bullet update, or a Markdown file.
loop-breaker
3Plagemes/claude-mods
Stops Claude when it repeats the same failing command three times and suggests a different approach.
