Claude Code Voice

Hands-free voice control for Claude Code on macOS.

Requirements

- macOS
- Python 3.x
- SpeechRecognition library
- pyaudio library

Quickstart

1. Install dependencies:

2. Run Claude Code with claude --dangerous-skip-permissions (the flag is required for total hands-free control)

3. Type start voice to enable voice mode

4. Speak your commands naturally with 2-second pauses for submission

5. Hit escape and type stop voice to disable

Implementation

Uses Claude Code hooks (UserPromptSubmit and Stop) to create a continuous voice listening session with macOS speech recognition and Google's speech-to-text API.
