How It Works

Interactive diagram: docs/architecture.drawio (open in diagrams.net).

What's Included

Quick Install

Then edit ~/.claude/settings.json to fill in your personal values (API URL, OTEL endpoint, etc.).

Plugins

Official (claude-plugins-official) — 12 plugins

Third-Party — 3 plugins

OpenAI (openai/codex-plugin-cc) — 1 plugin

LSPs (Piebald-AI/claude-code-lsps) — 3 plugins

MCP Servers

Standalone MCP servers configured globally via ~/.claude/.mcp.json (not part of the plugin system):

Install: uvx code-review-graph serve (runs via uvx, no global pip install needed).

Standalone Skills (External)

Skills installed globally via pip/uvx (not part of the plugin system):

Install: uvx --from graphifyy graphify install (auto-detects Claude Code, installs skill to ~/.claude/skills/graphify/).

Architecture

See docs/ARCHITECTURE.md for the full directory tree, model config, hook details, and exact counts.

Hooks

8 hook files, 6 wired in settings.json:

Global Memory

Memory is global (shared across all projects), not project-scoped. The global-memory-symlink.sh hook runs on every session start to ensure new projects automatically use the shared memory at ~/.claude/memory/.

Customization

After installing, you'll want to:

1. settings.json — Set your ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL, OTEL endpoint, and resource attributes
2. CLAUDE.md — Adjust the decision rules and tool preferences to match your workflow
3. memory/ — Add your own memory files (communication preferences, dev profile, etc.)

See docs/CUSTOMIZATION.md for detailed guidance.

Requirements

- Claude Code CLI installed
- Node.js 18+
- Git

How hooks work

  • Hooks are shell commands Claude Code runs at fixed points: before or after a tool call, when you submit a prompt, when Claude stops, on notifications and at session start.
  • They are set in the hooks section of ~/.claude/settings.json (or .claude/settings.json for a project), or come bundled in a plugin.
  • A hook can block a tool call, add context, or run a formatter or test. Read the scripts before you install them: they run on your machine with your permissions.
