How Claude Code mods work
- A mod is a plugin with a JavaScript or TypeScript module that runs inside Claude Code (version 2.1.287 or later). It can draw panes beside the transcript, a band above the prompt, buttons and toasts, restyle the spinner and tool rows, and watch or rewrite tool calls and prompts.
- It installs like any plugin: add its marketplace with /plugin marketplace add owner/repo, then /plugin install name@marketplace.
- Check what a mod can reach before installing: it runs with your permissions. Reach goes from drawing only, to reading files, to writing files or running processes, to the network. Run claude plugin validate on a clone to list its hooks and calls without running it.
- Turn one off from the Installed tab in /plugin, or start Claude Code with --safe-mode to skip every customization for a session.

ather-board
AskTinNguyen/ather-mods
Ather Board: the team's intents as a project board. /board shows what is stuck, every intent by owner, area or stage, the open acceptance items and each person's and area's load; /board open writes the full page with a kanban and the weekly pulse; /board publish shares it. Read-only.
artifact-catalog
amsyeung/artifact-catalog
When Claude publishes a new artifact, asks above the prompt whether to file it in your catalogue (a Notion database and/or an index artifact).
ather-lanes
AskTinNguyen/ather-mods
Ather Lanes: the machine's S2 agent lanes as a board. /lanes shows the decisions waiting for you, the lanes that need a look, and every lane with its slot, branch and PR, from what the S2 lane scripts and git already keep. The status line names this session's lane and what waits; Claude can answer which lane it is in (lanes_summary) and open the board (lanes_open). Read-only; starts no process while the pane is closed.
